Discotekas is a poster series for a DJ event, It is composed of two opposing works.
We want to share HyeYoon Lee’s work behind the story from Berlin to Seoul.

Working as a freelance graphic designer in Berlin and looking for exciting work.
FOR FRIEND,
Hi, I’m currently working as a freelance graphic designer in Berlin and I’m working on several flyer designs for a DJ friend in Seoul.
This time I can show you the design for my favorite DJ group ‘DISCOTEKAS’ from Seoul.
IMAGINE AN UNKNOWN PLACE,
Usually, I want to see where is the venue, the venue's atmosphere, what it looks like out/inside, and how different between weekends and weekdays.
But this time I can’t visit the ‘Oeuvre’ so I can’t see anything that I want to see so I request to my friend for photos of different atmospheres and interiors.
Also, I visit Oeuvre’s Instagram, and all the videos, and photos that customers took and tagged are also a great source for me.
I decide to make a ‘scene’ with a line work ( even though there was one small plant on AC lol). I really love to share this work and am happy about clients' beliefs & support of my work and the way to express it.
